Blogpress SEO Plugin for WordPress is a Scam and a Trojan

I know Techie-Buzz.com has a much larger reach than I do, but just in case you don’t read their blog (at least subscribe on Facebook) I just found out there that the Blogpress SEO Plugin for WordPress is both a scam and a trojan.

I’m not going to rehash what they wrote, you can read more about the Blogpress SEO plugin scam at their blog.

If you are using WordPress, make sure you disable and delete this plugin right away and follow the instructions given to you at their website. Keeping WordPress secure is difficult enough, we don’t need to be letting the hackers in voluntarily.

That’s all I have for today, but I should have a lot more good stuff coming in the near future.

That notwithstanding – what is the blogger SEO plugin?

The SEO plugin you really want to check out for WordPress is SEO Ultimate by SEO Design Solutions, from the WordPress Codex (free). It’s flat out awesome.
